Price intelligence for online shopping

That “52% off” might be the highest price all month.

SaleSniff checks prices every day and keeps the history. Before you buy, it tells you what the product actually cost over the last 30 days — and scores the discount out of 100.

What a fake sale looks like

A seller can set the “original” price to anything they like. The discount badge is calculated from that number, not from what anyone ever paid. Here is the shape of it:

What the listing says

₱599

₱1,200 52% OFF

What we tracked for 30 days

Lowest seen
₱549
30-day average
₱565
Highest seen
₱599

The ₱1,200 never happened. Today's “sale” price is the highest this product has been in a month, and it is ₱34 above its own average. SaleSniff calls this one a fake sale and scores it accordingly.

Illustration of the method — not a live product listing.

How the Sniff Score works

Every tracked product gets one number from 0 to 100. It is built from two halves — who is selling it, and whether this price is actually good.

Seller Score

How much this shop can be trusted

  • Seller rating40%
  • Number of ratings25%
  • How often this seller runs fake sales35%

Deal Score

How good this particular price is

  • Price verdict30%
  • Savings vs. the 30-day average30%
  • Confidence in the verdict20%
  • How much history we have20%

The balance shifts as we learn. With fewer than five price points on record, a product is judged mostly on its seller — 60% seller, 40% deal — because we do not yet know what its price normally does. Once we have more than thirty days of history that flips to 30% seller and 70% deal. The longer we watch something, the more the price itself is allowed to speak.

What you get

Detect fake sales

We compare the seller's claimed original price against what the product actually sold for over the last 30 days.

Track real prices

Daily price checks build a history, so you can see whether today's number is genuinely low or just loud.

Get price alerts

Set a target price on any product and get a notification the moment it actually drops there.

Find live vouchers

Promo codes are collected and re-checked every six hours, so the ones you see are the ones that still work.
