SaleSniff (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is operated by Cee2Labs. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our price tracking and fake sale detection service.

Information We Collect

• Account data — email address and name when you sign in via Google or email/password.
• Usage data — products you view, track, or add to your Sniff List.
• Search history — when you are signed in, the keywords you search (and the matching product category) are saved to personalize your For You feed. Guest searches are not stored, and you can view or clear your search history anytime from your profile.
• Push notification subscriptions — your device's push endpoint and encryption keys, if you opt in to notifications.
• Affiliate clicks— which products you click “Buy” on, to track affiliate revenue attribution.

How We Use Your Information

• Send you price drop alerts for products you track.
• Show personalized deal recommendations (your “For You” feed) based on the categories you pick, and what you search, track, and favorite. You can edit your interests or clear your search history anytime in your profile.
• Improve the accuracy of our fake sale detection algorithm.
• Track affiliate link clicks for revenue attribution (this does not affect the price you pay).

Third-Party Services

• Supabase — database and authentication. Stores your account and usage data.
• Vercel — hosting. Serves the application and processes requests.
• Google— authentication provider for “Sign in with Google”.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only — Supabase authentication session cookies that keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party advertising cookies.

Affiliate Links

Some links on SaleSniff are affiliate links. When you click a “Buy” button and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer. This does not affect the price you pay.

Data Retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (tracked products, alerts, sniff list, push subscriptions) is permanently deleted.

Your Rights

You can access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time through your profile page or by contacting us. You can unsubscribe from push notifications in your profile settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
